The Berczy is situated in one of the most interesting neighbourhoods of Toronto – the St. Lawrence district. St Lawrence was the first industrial area of the Town of York, with its first Saturday farmer’s market held in 1803. City Hall was also formerly located in this area, though the old Council chambers are now known as the “South Market” of the St. Lawrence Market. Residents are less than a minute from a bus stop serving the 72 Pape bus to Pape Station and the Bloor-Danforth subway line, and just a 5 minute walk away from King Subway Station, serving the Yonge-University subway line.
